A little about me…

I have the three greatest ladies in the world at home with me…my 2 daughters and my wife. That is the important stuff….now why I started this blog:

I’m a corporate executive type, and the lifestyle isn’t something that I can keep up with indefinitely. I’ve also always been one to thrive on the whole ‘work for yourself’ bit. This past fall I came upon some great webmaster forums and the old webmaster in me (I had my own design and consulting deal a long time back) started to be rekindled. In parallel, I was researching the ways of the present day internet moneymakers. I got to a point that I wanted to take some of my spare time and get back in the fray.

“Get back in the fray”…this can mean just about anything, so let me clarify. I want to build a second income stream online. This is a personal challenge for myself, and since it involves making more money, I should be able to stick with it.

Here is my goal: Starting January 1st, in 40 days time, I want to create a portfolio of websites that delivers $40 / day in profits. I’ve broken this down further as I would like to have 20 websites all averaging $2/day. This blog will serve as my outlet for my workings…and over time I wouldn’t mind if this blog also contributed to my online income.

Why the “Serial Monetizer”?…I thought it was catchy, and it fit me.  In the past few months, there isn’t a website or concept that I look at without trying to strategize in my head how it could be monetized.
